How often is the site updated?
At least weekly, with new guides added to existing departments and, over time, entirely new departments and sub-sections. Some weeks see more than one update. Check the "Now boarding" board on the homepage, or the News department, for a running log.
How do you decide what to write next?
Roughly in order of what a first-time visitor actually needs: essential planning information first, then the headline sights, then progressively deeper neighbourhood, culture and food coverage. Within that, we prioritise topics with real, checkable substance over ones that would just pad the page count.
How are facts checked?
We distinguish between stable information (history, how a neighbourhood is laid out, how an institution like the hammam works) and volatile information (visa rules, transit fares, exchange rates). The volatile category is deliberately kept light on specific numbers within evergreen guides, with pointers to primary official sources instead — see our e-Visa guide for an example of how that works in practice.

Are you affiliated with any hotel, tour company or the Turkish government?
No. This is an independent project, not affiliated with any tourism board, hotel group or tour operator, and we don't accept payment for favourable coverage.
When will the site be available in other languages?
Translation is planned as a structured rollout rather than an all-at-once machine translation of every page — see our About us page for the broader thinking. Turkish is the first planned full translation, given the obvious local relevance, with further languages added as each one is properly localised rather than auto-generated. The language selector in the footer will light up as each edition goes live.
